This Sunday is Mother's Day

This Sunday is Mother's Day, and on this day, it seems fitting for us to consider what Scripture tells us about the mindset, activities, faith, and priorities of godly women.  Our message this week is going to be from Acts 18.  We'll be looking at the life of a woman named Priscilla and some of the ways the Lord used her during the era of the early church.

We would love to see you this Sunday for our worship service at 10:00am!

Women's Community Group

Women's Group - Feb 28, 2017

Women's group has been pushed back 1 week this month. Again, there's no way we can compete with Valentine's Day. We're meeting at Cara Pfender's home from 6:30pm - 8:30pm. If you're planning to come, please let Cara or Becky know. Get ready for Stranger Things!!!!

On Deck:

Community group dinner at the Shenk's on March 7.

Men's bowling night

On Wednesday night, January 31st at 9:00pm, the men are meeting up at Penndel Bowling Lanes for a few games of bowling.  Games and shoe rental are only $1.00 / each, so you'll have plenty of extra cash left over to grab some nachos.

If you haven't yet RSVP'd to Pastor John, send him a quick email so he has an accurate count.

One other thing.... try to show up a few minutes early.  The place tends to get busy on Wednesday nights and we might not get a lane if we're tardy.

Kid Zone & Epicenter

On Thursday evenings, from 6:30-8:00pm, the church is buzzing with activity as we host our programs for students.  Kid Zone is for age 4 through grade 5 and Epicenter is for grades 6-12.  We just posted a new banner in front of the church to help the community learn about these valuable weekly programs for young people.  Help us spread the word!

Snacks Needed

On Sunday mornings, we like to provide snacks and coffee in the church foyer.  Would you be interested in signing up to bring snacks one Sunday?  It's really up to you what you supply (as long as there aren't peanut products used in it).  Donuts are good.  So are bagels.  Fruit is also good.  Basically, almost anything you'd eat for breakfast would be fine.  For some people, this will indeed be their breakfast.

Our hospitality director, Karen Pfender, coordinates this for us.  Please email her at if you'd like to sign up to cover an upcoming week.  Thanks!
